The Haenel Mod 100 air pistol. This particular pistol was manufactured in Germany in February 1938! Named the Mod 100 due to the ability to load 100 .175 lead balls through the hole in front of the front sight. To access the loading chamber, the knurled cap on the muzzle is turned which opens up the loading port. Tilting the pistol would cause one lead shot to be loaded into the barrel. The ring on the base of the grip is a cocking aid. Available in smooth and chequered grips. It is said that the chequered grip variant may have been a “deluxe” model.
